Opening Hours: 9.00 until 17:30 Monday – Sunday
Situated near Keswick in Cumbria, we are in an ideal location for all of your sailing, watersport and mountain activities. At Derwent Water Marina, they run Taster / Refresher sessions and RYA courses in Sailing and Windsurfing. Groups and individuals can also try Canoeing, Kayaking, Ghyll Scrambling, Rock Climbing or Raft-building
If you want to explore Derwent Water there are canoes, kayaks, sailing dinghys,windsurfers and rowing boats for hire. If you are looking for a base for exploring the Lake District there is comfortable accommodation in our lakeside self-catering apartments. They have a car park for clients. Showers and changing rooms are available in the Marina building.
Glenridding Sailing Centre
Get yourself afloat amongst the stunning scenery of Ullswater in the English Lake District! The Glenridding Sailing Centre provides a wide range of sailing dinghies and traditional boats, canoes + kayaks.
Expert tuition by friendly, patient RYA qualified staff is available in the boats or indeed your own if it’s suitable.
Safety boat cover, and qualified + experienced help, are on hand every day during the sailing season (typically March to end-October).

Coniston Boating Centre
There’s something for everyone at Coniston Boating Centre, both on and off the water…
You can hire motor boats, rowing boats, dinghies, kayaks and canoes. For land-based adventures, have a wheely good time on a mountain bike or zoom off on our exciting new electric bikes. The centre is half a mile from Coniston village, on the shores of Coniston Water. There is plenty of parking or you can arrive by boat.
