All romantic cottages are cleverly designed just for couples, with privacy and peaceful holidays in mind. Adapted from characterful old stone barns, including many cosy features and within easy reach of many attractions. The beautiful western Lake District is nearby and so is the Solway Firth and Hadrians Wall. A great break for couples looking for affordable romantic cottages (no agency fees) and many dog friendly cottages too! All cottages are owner run, so you get that personal attention, also assitance with your accommodation and holiday plans is on hand should you want it.

For our Dog Friendly Cottages, we recommend either Salkeld, Dykes or Parlour cottages. But we will welcome small to medium sized breeds in some of our Stables cottages. Our 2 local pubs are dog friendly too and they are easily reached by paths directly from your cottage door.
