This stunning holiday cottage in the Lake District has an open fire, four poster bed and steam cubicle; its perfect for romance.
The cottage offers a larger living and dining area than Dykes holiday cottage and the bathroom is en-suite upstairs.
Free Wi-Fi and ample parking included in all Lake District holiday cottages.
Beautiful open fire, four poster bed and steam cubicle.
A little smaller than Salkeld and so just that bit more intimate. The bathroom is on the ground floor, incorporating a shower/bath and stem cubicle. It also has a little balcony immediately outside the bedroom. Just like all our cottages the storage heating is included in the price.
This cottage is the largest of the stables cottages, it also has a four poster bed and a Swedish designed log burner. The bathroom boasts a large hydro-therapy shower cubicle with seat.
The lounge and kitchen area is spacious and bright, with large windows and french door over looking green pastures.
Hayloft Cottage is the smallest of the five stables cottages, perfect for those on a budget, or guests simply requiring a pied-a-terre from which to explore the area, or for anyone holidaying alone and having time to enjoy the countryside by themselves.

Stables Cottage 2, 3 and 4 (all sleep only two people)
The Stables Cottages have been converted from the original stone built stables, hayloft and milking parlour. Each cottage retains the stable door entrance (with shutter doors) and the upper hayloft opening is now a French window affording views over the courtyard to open farmland, letting in light and fresh air, and giving access to the shared balcony. All have the bedrooms on the ground floor and the living accommodation upstairs to make the most of the morning light through the french windows which lead out onto a shared balcony.
Each holiday cottage is “upside down”, with the double bedroom and en-suite shower room on the ground floor, the living room with kitchen and dining area above. Cosy and warm for the winter months with an electric flame effect stove. Please note: Stables 2 is the only cottage that we do not accept pets in.
All of our self catering holiday cottages sleep only two people. All the properties sleep exactly two people.
