Cottage Description
The Stables Cottages at Ellen Hall were converted from the original stone barn and hayloft. Each cottage retains the stable door entrance and upper hayloft opening. There is now a French window affording views over the courtyard to open farmland, letting in light and fresh air, and giving access to the shared balcony.
This cottage is Dog Friendly. Stables 4 cottage is “upside down”, with the double bedroom and en-suite shower room on the ground floor and the open plan living area upstairs. Cosy and warm for the winter months with an open fire-flame-effect electric stove, it is also fully insulated, with double glazing and storage heating. It is equipped with modern kitchen appliances including microwave, and has digital/smart TV and DVD. Decorated, with natural pine woodwork, this cottage has a cosy cabin feeling.
