14th May 2022, 7 Nights. We are returning guests to these holiday cottages and had the privilege to be the first visitors to stay in the newly refurbished cottage Hayloft. Wayne & Jo have done an amazing job with the refurbishment and the extra luxury made our stay the best to date. The cottage had all the amenities you could want and is very comfortable. The hot tub is a must especially after a long day walking. We would like to thank Wayne & Jo for a very enjoyable stay and we will definitely book Hayloft again next year.

23/3/24 – 26/3/24.. Really cosy , warm little cottage with everything we needed. Loved the area with a beutiful walk around Buttermere one day and a sunset walk on the beach at Allonby too. Hope to be back!

Dec 28th 2023 5 nights. We returned to Salkeld for a post Christmas stay having had a great time last year and this stay has been brilliant as well! Walks on three days out of the four, with the museums of Keswick providing comprehensive history of pencils. Jo and Wayne again were perfect hosts. We will be back again before too long x
